Look, anything to improve one's lifelong partner's
respect in daily life of a retiree. If not traditional
impression, that works, then something that goes
beyond poorly designed, yet "the best in the world"
Medicaid, Social Security check, and other little
perks a US pensioneer would get for no current or
future contribution to the society. Borrowing from the
current or future generations to satisfy one's ego
now, is the American way, the way it has been.
Hopefully it will get modified in the future.
