I am glad to get an update and I am sure so are others. A few questions and
comments:
1. Why should the portfolio be static (fixed), why can't I change it
according to certain rules?
2. Why do I need so many systems on so many symbols/portfolios if I have
your Fuzzy tool that makes so much money already (of course only after I
paid you so much money)?
3. How is your trading doing?
Actually just thinking about it, do I need all this to make money or
shouldn't TS be sufficient?
Just some thoughts... ;)
Volker
PS: You see I have nothing else to do...

Betreff: RE: AW: Neuro Fuzzy software for TS2000i ...
Hi there,
Unfortunately for some, we are still in the business (we are probably
the oldest TS solution provider, registered in 1993), but not really
present on the web at this time.
The reason is simple: We will update ( translate: rebuild) the web
site when the new software, still in beta stage, will be completed.
This will include the long awaited realtime results and more than this.
I decided to delay this publication until te completion of the above
project because it will take advantage of it.
The current development is a dynamic portfolio management software for
TS8 that is able to monitor in realtime up to 1000 items (systems and
or symbols and or timeframes ).
>From that point to software is able to backtest the money
>management
scheme ( like if it was a single system) and will place orders in
realtime accordingly on the dynamically selected tradeables.
The portfolio management suite v2( PFO2) only work with Safir Xp
neurofuzzy systems and needs RadarScreen for TS8 ( mandatory).
The idea behing is to have a huge basket of tradeables rather than
a single system running on a single symbol or fixed portfolio.
If there are chances to get caught with the static usual solution,
it's not exactly the case with dynamic money management ( where the
philosophy is to put your money on systems or tradeables that
currently work at a given bar).
And from a basket of 1000 items, there si always something intersting
to do rater tahn to wait the end of the current drawdown.
The software continuously reevaluate all of the components of the
basket and may change its decision for every trade that was just
closed.
It took close to 2 years mor to achieve this project and this is the
only reason of my silence and the the delay of realtime results
publication.
But do not worry, I will advertise it here when done!
Rgds,
Pierre Orphelin

Uh Volker both of those pages seem to be updated last in 2004. Did you make
a mistake or did he stop reporting on the fuzzy stuff around 2004?
A good bear market will weed a lot of guys and systems out. Maybe it got
Pierre's fuzzy stuff. Then again it may be so hot he doesn't have time to
report it.

Betreff: Neuro Fuzzy software for TS2000i ...
A few years back, there was an active member on this list who had developed
some Neur-Fuzzy software. I think he was possibly French. I had forgotten
all the details.
Does anybody possibly remembers any details: his name, the name of his
software or has his web page?
best regards,
