Hello
I finally just restored one computer to it's original OS condition and
reloaded all the software. The data downloader is working again. I have not
tried it on the other machine, I don't want to know at this point :)

I'll backup Ray & Jimmy (woa: I did not say that) Casper & now
Casper3.0 on the w2000 machine (to replace Ghost). It has a property
to only backup changed files, which seems alot faster the ver2.0 on my
other machines. Although the w2000 machine was reformatted.
Incidentally you might try a sata2 external case if yours are sata
machines.

Hello list
I am using [up until today] Tradestation 2000 with the historical data
plugin for Global Server from hypertrader.com and DTNIq. As of Friday night
I cannot download history. Realtime data comes in ok. I made some changes
to
the software on Friday and thought that was the cause but today I powered
up
my backup machine with no changes at all and it has the same problem. I
shut
off the software firewall and bypassed the hardware firewall per DTN's
customer support and nothing changed. They did tell me that the history
comes from a different server than the realtime data. I am wondering if
anybody here uses that setup and has the same problems or knows what the
fix
might be?

I have had a counter in the past that would count down the remaining ticks
until the next bar when you were running tick charts. Hard drive went bad
and
I don't have a clue where I got it from or even how to write it. Anyone
have one?
Thanks
