In setting up a new harddrive I am looking to swap to a "Symbol
Collection Template" (ts2k) rather than the tedious & rather
un-manageable process of adding 1 at a time to the Symbol dictionary
(managed to type in over 600 symbols the other year. Many very thin.
Good ah!).

So far in testing a template on the existing hardrive I added a custom
one with a filter ALL_STOCK (doesn't seem to be a paticulr one for
ausse), and many symbols got added. But many came appearing from the
wrong exchange or UNDEF. This was implemented just after the exchange
closed last night.

Will the exchange & associated parameters correct as data flows in
Monday?

Is there a way to permanently block symbols in the template, such as
warrants? ie to save resources. Could I just multi-select these
every now and again, and set delivery year to some prior year to
attempt and set them as 'expired', or will data continue to be
processed into these within GS?

thanks
