Ted:

I am a "regular" intraday bond trader and I use 352 tick bars in the bonds for trading and 1408 for longer-term perspective. You can see a recent article of mine that focuses on trading 30 year bond futures using 352 tick bar charts in Ensign's February Trading Tips newsletter [ http://www.ensignsoftware.com ].

I am also giving a free webinar next week, sponsored by the CBOT--and it will focus exclusively on how I trade 30 year bonds using non-time based bars [there are more ways than tick bars...]. Anyone is welcome to attend. It will be Wednesday, February 15th at 10 am. You can get a login and password at this link:

If you miss it, an archived version of it in a real player file will be posted on the CBOT site several days after the event.

I have to tell you in advance...it's tough drawing those 352 tick bar charts on brown paper bags...

I wish you all good trading!
