Hello robert,

When you format the strategy under the properties tab,
then automation, check the box "Strategy will fill non-historical
orders only when the trademanager reports them as filled.

There are a couple of problems with this setting though.

 1. If your strategy has multiple orders and exits, the software can
get confused and the strategy will be disabled.

2. You can only use this setting if you have only 1 strategy for the
symbol running on automation.

If you don't have this option selected and are using automation, a
limit or stop order will be considered as filled if touched even if
none of the order filled.

The TS automation is not totally ready for unattended operation. It is
nice for firing off orders without having to pay close attention to
charts but needs a baby sitter.
