Ray,
I have JMA, VEL, RSX and CFB. I have not found little use for them as
traditional indicators. However, using the JMA as a price filter it has been
useful in short term trading to remove noise. The RSX is a better RSI and in
a traditional sense can be useful. I use the VEL to indicate market
direction and it has been useful.
The VEL indicator is used with a traditional Bollinger and Keltner indicator
when the Bollinger goes in side the Keltner and then goes outside the
Keltner, I use the Vel to indicate market direction in short term scalp like
trades.
