I left SmartQuant 18 months ago.
I doubt QuantStudio is a good product for anyone migrating from TS.
Browse through the forums on their site to see why. Mainly, you'll
spend more time learning .NET, the QS class hierachies, etc. than
trading. Once you are done learning you'll spend time minimizing
memory consumption, fighting bugs and so on.
All this is fine is you are a software developer wanting to become a
trader but not optimal otherwise.

Joel,
What ever happened to your association with Quant Studio?
I totally forgot about this product (QS).
Incidently, for those looking for an alternative
to TS and WL, and you know how to program
a high level languange - take a look at QS.
