I've been running Tradestation 2000i on a solid dual Pentium machine for 5
years now without a problem. The operating system has been NT4. It also has
2 hard drives, one of which is giving me problems. I'm going to replace the
hard drives and upgrade to Windows 2000 pro at the same time; since eSignal
no longer supports customers using NT4.
I need help in locating the correct files to back up before I reinstall
Tradestation 2000i on my new operating system. I've always ran mirroring
software in the past and never had to manually back up anything on my
machine. I've have 5 years of tick data for all futures, many custom
indicators and systems I've developed, hundreds of hours in drawings on my
workspaces, etc., etc. I don't want to lose any of this if possible. If
there is any documentation relating to this somewhere, I'd appreciate anyone
pointing me in the right direction. Also, if anyone has had some issues with
Tradestation 2000i and Win 2k; any advice would be extremely appreciated.
