Hi Bill,
I am using TC2000 and convert to metastock format, with all this limitations
these days. Your approach sounds more sophistcated. Can you explain it in
more detail? Would it be possible to get a copy for this Y2k conversion
tool.

I use TC2000 and export in TC2000 ver 3 format. You have to run
utility to convert to Y2K format but it is simple. You can bring in
any number of stocks that way.
