Hey Stefan,

Hope you are doing well.

I think that new open position each tick has something to do with the
way the code is written. Drives me nuts. I changed my code to get
away from that or I just turned the system off to stop it. I don't
trade systems anyway. One of the smart code guys can tell you what
causes it. Mine was where the code needed another condition to stop
it.

Hey one of you code guys answer this one. Alex, Gary or Bob or ...

Jimmy

I have the same problem but just with one symbol. I added the symbol for CAC
40 futures, MT H5-MA a while back and when I apply a strategy that has an
open position to it on every tick it updates and gives me a window that says
new open position. I have looked at all the settings and nothing is
different than the other futures symbols but still it does like this. The
only difference is that the CAC has a contract for each month while the
other has only four contracts per year.

Seems this happen to me once. I discovered by accident I had some how got
the date in my computer a day off from the data feed to TS. It caused TS to
do everything you said and even more. I scratched my head, stomped my feet
and said peanuts more than once.
