RE: Salomon Smith Barney Technical Analysis is gone

And then... Where the proof of positive expectancy from a FUNDAMENTAL
analyst?

I still have my wall filled with BUY recommendations form Merrill
Salomon Goldman of ... ENRON

And not at 80 or 60 but at 30 20 10!

"A frigging bargain"

So for me Fundamental analysis is subject to the same problems of
Technical Analysis

And when you trade intraday what do you use? Support and resistances or
GDP or PPI?

So good technical analysis is difficult to find exactly as good
fundamental analysis and even more difficult is to find good technical
analysis in a good firm at the same time.

Most portfolio managers use some sort of technicals (contrarian or trend
following) when they look at a chart anyway... If they are so "pure"
they should not even look at the screen since the market pricing is
PERFECT according to the academic rubbish.

Technical Analysis has to prove itself certainly but not differently
than those certified fundamental analysts that were telling the world to
buy Amazon at $400

Thanks
