I have followed the old omega instructions for installation, but have =
stumbled twice:
(1) loading the Virtual Driver. I can't load the DEVICE command line =
to the config.nt file in the winnt\system32 directory. windows explorer =
only has files in the directory tree; and notepad does not open up the =
config.nt file. there is a config.nt file under the my documents folder =
that can be opened up, but adding the line does not fix the problem; =
and,
(2) starting the Speed Measurement Utility. the test begins with =
"testing", but then hangs and even after 45 min does not yield the =
optimal ssi parameters [presumably because I can't load the virtual =
driver.]
any one figure this out? I've done this b4, but can't remember the =
trick.
