markbrown.com rDNS problem

Mark, I'm posting this to the omega list in case anyone else is
similarly affected.

In your recent message about eskimo.com blocking your address,
it could be happening because your ISP has improperly configured
reverse domain name service (rDNS) for you.

The IP address for markbrown.com is 67.64.132.234. However:

% host 67.64.132.234
234.132.64.67.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer
adsl-67-64-132-234.dsl.rcsntx.swbell.net.

It doesn't look like that IP address points back to your domain.
Many large providers, not just smaller services like eskimo.com,
block email if the forward and reverse DNS don't match -- this is a
good indicator of a dynamic IP address, but isn't always the case,
as in your case. You can get that fixed by requesting that your ISP
fix its DNS record for your IP address.

Hope this helps...
