It would have 2 processors so the processes would be spread
over the 2 processors. One would be running the excel sheet,
the other would be doing TS.

Is the 100% cpu load giving you any problems ? If not, i would
say you don't need to get a dual processor system. Ofcourse, if
it in any way is loosing data or something it's worth a try.
