It maybe to late to save you this time , but heres the story on how it works
in ts2000i ...it maybe the same in ts4 ... i dont know , but the location of
the information would be similiar.
The setting you requested is in the registry.
You can find it by doing the following
goto 'Start , run, "regedit" '
Highlight the very top which is called "my computer"
Goto 'edit , find' "ChildFrame"
It should find a 'registry key ' containing the word "powereditor"
Then when you find it , you can export it.
to do this
goto file , export , "type in some descriptive name like 'powereditor
backup'"
OK .........then you have a backup of your settings.......
When you want to restore this file list , just execute the .reg file you
just backup by double clicking on it.
Real simple when you know how.
I have included a copy of mine below so you can see what your looking for.
Cheers

Subject: [MrEasyLanguage] Re: Powereditor Crash and recovery info?
Please, reply
that's not what i want to backup...if you're in powereditor, in ts4,
go to windows under menu headings, click, and you'll see a directory,
or should i say a listing of all the open ela's you're working with.
It is that list that i want to backup in case of a crash. Sometimes
the list, shows 30 items, primarily why i want to backup the list.
The info is held somewhere in the omega directory, where is my
question. Can Sam answer this,
Thanks,
Mary
