Hi Chris,
2000i is a little nutty for fx. Intraday data only collects bid or ask, not
last. Daily data is saved but will not update real time, as I recall. They
were using the bid -ask-trade flag in the data to decide where it goes, and
there used to be no trade flag on fx, so it wouldn't chart on intraday, or
update a daily. Perhaps someone has figured out some tricks to get around
the flaws by now, I haven't used it in a while. But that is generally the
picture. What I did was use TS4 for fx, it worked fine.
FWIW, TS8 includes fx for free, and it appears pretty clean. Infinitely
better than 2000i in general, except for no foreign mkt data.
Best,
Chris
