I use daily data in metastock format. TS accept this data directly without
any GS definitions. You can use any text formatted input data and convert
these data with the freely available metastock downloader from EQUIS. This
way you can also transfer the description of the stock from your text file
beside the symbol.

Does anyone know how to create new symbols as a batch?
Perhaps a text file in a particular format where a person can edit
symbol definitions in a spreadsheet before importing those definitions?
Have gotten into universe.mdb, but that doesn't seem the right place as
it doesn't have all the symbols I have.
