Re: system trader

It's kind of a catch 22. If you don't have any money, you can't can't
trade your own account so you might logically want to sell the signals.
But, if you don't trade your own account, you can't show any statements
proving your methods really work so nobody will buy your signals. Most
traders, at least the smart ones, are painfully aware of the CFTC's
required warnings about hypothetical trading and will want to see those
account statements. Either way, you are probably going to have to suffer
through a few years of being a poor overworked trader before you can
strike it big. And, if your system quits working in the meantime,
well....

"Hypothetical or simulated performance
results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance
record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since
the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-
or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors,
such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are
also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of
hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is
likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown."
