No renaming will not work. MyWork holds you workspaces and they are
not a problem as long as you have them in each MyWork folder. When
you get to functions, indicators and systems it all goes up against
the wall. Notice how you have two files for each indicator,
function and signal. Kind of like a database. My guess is the limit
is based on some code in the program (power editor) that limits how
many files it can keep track of or more likely the total size of all of
them. I don't think anyone has found a way to work around the limit.
The only thing I know to do it export all the indicators, functions
and systems you don't really have to use then delete those. I try to
keep my stuff well below 1,000 so I can import some old stuff if I
think I want it for some reason. I wish there was a better answer but
this has been going on for 5 1/2 years now and I have never heard
anyone come up with a fix.
