Bob,
It is quite surprise for me that OptionVue5 is working with Dynastore LE
interface. If I guess correctly, you have your charts starting from the
current point - without any history, as Dynastore LE does not provide it.
OK, to add the Options you needed, you have to:
1) Add the symbols to Dynastore LE portfolio:
1a) Click on "Edit porttfolio" button of Dynastore LE to show a Portfolio
Editor.
1b) Click on "Add new symbols..." and select "Add Futures Options symbols"
from the pop-up menu.
1c) In the "New Symbol (FOP)" window, enter:
- "Trading Name": YM
- "Expiry info": place checkmarks on "2004" and "September"
- Place checkmarks on "Put" or "Call" (or both of them) - this depends on
which Options you need to watch.
- "Strike price": Enter the starting strike price into "from" and ending one
into "To" fields and enter a step you want to use between these prices. For
example, if you'll enter "100" as start price and "120" as end price and
will use 5 as step, these strike prices will be generated: 100, 105, 110,
115, 120.
- "Exchange" - enter "ECBOT".
- "Currency" - leave it empty.
After that press "OK, Add this symbol" button and the Options you've created
will be added to your Dynastore portfolio. Now press on "OK: Save this
portfolio and apply the changes" button to retuirn to Dynastore LE main
window.
If you'll look into Portfolio Editor again, you'll see these new symbols you
have add - please check the "Ticker name" field generated by "new symbol"
procedure. Your Options names in OptionVue should be the exactly the same as
these "Ticker names".
Regards,
DB
