It's a good point. I suppose it depends upon your methods as to how
important this is. Someone trading systems off tick charts or one minute
bars may need more than someone trading visually off hourly bars.

I can't understand why anyone would want to connect to IB for data. It
is
not a data feed. Its just snapshots of the data. Do you expect
indicators to
act the same? Maybe I am missing something but the only way it makes
sense
to me is when you take into account cents an that could wind up costing
you
alot of Dollars.

IB data feed? One is free, the other $99. Does the price difference
reflect quality or features?  Thanks.
