The umemployment rate going up .1% has to do with formerly discouraged
workers coming back into the market and beginning to look for work again.
The umemployment rate only counts those where are actively looking for work.
This is actually good news.

Can someone explain, please, I guess I'm too stupid.  If jobless rate
is up to 5.7% but jobs added were 3 times the expected, then doesn't
this mean that jobs lost were quite substantial as well?  So why
market just one of the relevant numbers?  Re-election campaign?
