The sessions are the same for all crosses. Settings are the same on all 4
decimal place crosses, like the gbp. The 2 decimal crosses are the same as
the Jpy settings. In format symbol window, (right click on fx chart) you
must use bid record. On any system you design, try to keep it in terms of
pips gained or lost since the value of a pip varies from cross to cross.
Refer to the PipCo column of the pip values gif for that info. The FOREX
spot market (cash marlet) trades 24hrs per day starting sunday afternoon and
closing friday afternoon. I wouldnt hold anything over the weekends. Most of
the price movement occurs during the US (opens 8:00am EST) and European
(opens 2:30am EST) markets.
