(Obviously) when economic conditions conduce an increase in positive
sentiment, more stocks rise in price than not-a rising tide lifts all
boats I believe is the adage. Is anyone aware of any research that
delves a little more (at least) into any arbitrary factor? One could say
that 70% of price increases occur because the market is rising, but I'd
like to see any studies that add some depth to this.
Appreciate any suggestions.
