Hi Walter,
Welcome to the free for all 'Omega' list :)
Your quote is certanly a common one and an old one...but like most
market 'wisdoms'....I would suggest that virtually everyone one of them
can be disproved fairly easily. Investing and trading is like no other
profession..and only seasoned traders really understand this and its
ramifications. As for one example to disprove the above quote off the
top of my head...think George Soros...OLD and BOLD....although now he
has pretty much retired..
