I have a paper on this somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it out. Just
about everyone structures their IRA "entity" in the most disadvantageous
way.

Can anyone recommend an IRA trustee that actually conforms to the IRS
regulations regarding what can and what can not be owned in an IRA.
None of the trustees associated with my 3 brokerage/trading accounts
allow me to buy privately held stock, real estate, or other assets not
traded by the firm. Some do not allow options or futures.
I want a straight up trustee - one that will buy what I want and what
the
IRS permits, not what suits their interests.
