Hardcore? How about commercial-grade Cisco Aeronet products? Look
up the book _Building Ca isco Wireless LAN_ by Fuller et al.
For home products, I can't recommend any. Period. I'm convinced
that "home wireless" isn't ready for prime time yet. May be getting
there, especially when better encryption comes out.
In particular stay away from D-Link. My experience with their
products included lots of lost connections, even when the devices
were in the same room.
That said, I *have* heard more positive reviews about Linksys than any
of the others.
