Yes it is the Nemesis of all TS2ki users. Your data is corrupt. You
will continue to have problems that will get worse and you will curse
the program. If you are able to still receive data and chart it then
I suggest you wait until Friday to follow my many scripts on how to
fix this. If you don't have it then I will post it once again after
your request. If you can't load charts and work then reboot and open
the Global Server (GS) and see if it takes a long time to open. If so
it is reindexing your data. If not then close it then go to the Omega
Research folder using windows explorer and find the server\pds folder
and for safety copy the whole folder to a new folder somewhere else
with a slightly different name. Then go back to the real PDS folder
and delete ONLY the files with the extension .idx. Close explorer and
crank up the GS. Depending on the size of the data and speed of your
computer it will take some time to open the GS as it is actually
reindexing the data base. Do not stop it. Let it run until is it
done. When I had 15 gig of data it took 3 1/2 hours to 5 hours to do
this. Keep me posted and when I have time I will post the rest of the
fix. Don't let me forget.
