Don't have answers to those questions, but I subscribe to the Dow
newsletter from the CBOT and volume on the MiniDow has been setting
records every couple of weeks. Checkout

I defer to your experience since you have been trading them. I was just
surprised to notice recently that daily volume for the Mini Dow was up to
around 50K. That coupled with the 1 point increment seems attractive. Do you
have an opinion on what size lots the current bid/ask sizes can easily
support? Thanks very much.

The Mini Dow has been growing in liquidity. I wonder if this is related to
the 1 point increment?

Where did you hear this?

I've been trading the DOW eminis for about a year and have
noticed no significant increase in liquidity (bid/ask size
or spread) in that time.
