See no reason why not.  For safety copy your whole Omega Research
folder to a different folder so you can delelte the one you
synchronize if it doesn't work then copy the copy back.

I didn't see any changes to the Omega research folders when I changed
from W2k to XP.  The registry may be slightly different but it should
not change by synchronizing.  You could backup the registry also if
you like.
