Perhaps you were not aware that TRIN is a ratio between two ratios:  ratio
between an issues ratio and an on-balance volume ratio.  So, it makes no
difference how high (or low) the volume ratio is;  if the issues ratio is
nearly the same, then TRIN will be near 1.0
