Yes, that's a terrible restriction in TradeStation.

You have to copy your signal code to an indicator, comment out the
buy and sell orders, and put in your plot statements. Then insert
the indicator into your chart along with your strategy. Remember
every time you change a parameter in your strategy you need to
change it in your indicator too.

There's already an indicator for this: Strategy Equity. Look for it.
