Hello wireless,
ww> The region fee has been around for along time, since we added
ww> European data. The costs are huge to get access to global data
ww> around the world.
i think you just added the regional fee to the futures data it did not
exist before. if it did exist with the european stocks i would not
have known that because i don't trade european stocks using your data.
if i did i woulds till bitch about it because you are the ONLY data
vendor in the WORLD i know of which assesses a REGIONAL data feed fee.
ww> I thought you were making millions of $$ with the oddball system,
ww> $25 isn't so much compared to that ...
this whole industry revolves around newbies who would say the same
thing. like - what's a couple of hundred here and a couple of
thousand there, when i will make millions. yes you should know you
sponsor plenty of these type's of vendors on the eSignal web site.
the hard truth about this business is that every penny counts. yea
i'm a penny pincher and irregardless of the expense of your self
imposed "NEW" REGIONAL charge on FUTURES. yea maybe you have gotten
away with it for stocks for quit a while but i think futures traders
are going to have a hard time paying 25.00 regional charge to you to
get a low cost 2.00 or 9.00 futures exchange. trying to cover this
up is by saying it was always there is trickery.
but like i said irregardless of the cost of the regional fee - it's
more a matter of what is right or wrong. why don't you state the cost
of how expensive it is to get data over here? seems pretty cheap to
me as i hit any web site in the world - free.
i ask you to rethink what you are doing - eventually as api's for tt,
pats and other trading front ends become increasingly available to
power ts. you may be wishing you had not tried to gouge your
customers. i myself have gone from having 3 eSignal accounts to just
1 recently.
this was due to your sever limitations and pricing structure which i
am continually amazed at getting worst and not better. you know you
have some problems because the sales force will actually barter with
you if you push the pricing vs. limitation issue.
and as far as oddball - chuck i am the customer and you are the
vendor. unless i missed your contribution to the trading community
somewhere? i think you have shown your cards to everyone.
ww> Have a Great Day Mark,
ww> Chuck
