Sorry I can't fully answer your question. But one
thing to watch out for is when installing the updated
named " Q329170" . I learned the hard way. It caused
many problems, so I ended up just uninstalling it.

I have Windows 2000pro as my operating system.  When I
go to 
Microsoft's
"Windows Update" page and look at my update
installation history, there 
are
several items listed that state that the installation
failed.  How do I 
get
these items to attempt to install again?
