In my 500 hours of talking to the support people at TS- I only know of one
way to backup data. That is by :
with symbol portfolio tab selected in globalserver select edit tab, select :
"select all"
then move to the file tab: select "export data", then select "globalserver
format" and go through the next few that will
default select from :like 1901 until today at midnite" then enter- data is
backed up to an XPO file. then you copy out that file to your backup
computer.
my largest ended up being 2.4 gigs- My computer crashed- tried to backup- it
was corrupted. Make sure that you only have your settings of how much data
to KEEP set to minimum. ie- do not set to save ticks for 1000 years-
instead maybe 15 or 30 days
