I found real success using a 1 1/4 point profit target on the ES while
risking 3 points stop loss(5 min chart).

this ratio has spit out about 68% accuracy with a P Factor of 1.25.  however
by implementing an additional rule that I didn't program  - observing the
slope direction of a specific SMA as an entry filter- it has reduced the
number of trade entries per day from 5 down to 2 and increased the accuracy
from 68% to nearly 95%.

you make your money on trading a 10 lot instead of 1 contract to capture
$62.50 per car less commissions.
