Well, not really. Actually, yes, if you're not strong in math
you can still code it without actually understanding it. Wavelet
transform code exists in the public domain; see for example
http://www.library.cornell.edu/nr/bookcpdf/c13-10.pdf
which contains an explanation as layman-like as can be given, with
code. Be warned, though, the first paragraph may scare you off.
