Off topic: The general use of Blackberry type technology with trading systems

To the USA traders out there,
The major phone carrier here in Australia (Telstra) has just launched the 
Blackberry and O2XDA handhelds, with the "always on" type technology.  Is 
there a general use for this toy in trading or is it just like all those 
other crappy, hi-octane, PDA calender/diary toys that exist ??? Apart from 
receiving filled orders via email in real-time into a Blackberry device, I 
can not see any other use that it may have ??? Any insights would be great ?
