Hello Alex,

thanks guys, i understnad. i couldn`t think that it was required
from Omega to comment that if i have 5 calls and sell them - i`m
closing the position )) it is obvious )) i just think that they are
refering to PRICE.

>>does anybody know what does it mean in OptionStation2000i:
>>
>>Sell Option to Close

AM> It means sell an option to close an existing long position in that
AM> option.

>>Sell Option to Open

AM> It means sell an option to create a new short position in that option.

>>Can anyone explain the details? Why it is impossible having for
>>example 5 bought Calls in Position, sell then 15 Calls on "to close"?
>>OptionStation sells 5 on "on Close" and 10 on "to Open"..

AM> Selling "on close" means to sell at the close of the bar (when placing
AM> an order to the broker it means sell at the close of the day). This is
AM> not the same thing as selling "to close" or "to open."
