David,
Most of the funds can only be traded end-of-day, but four funds with 2:1
leverage can be traded twice daily (late morning and close.) If memory
serves me correctly:
Tempest (bear S&P) RYTPX
Titan (bull S&P)
Venture (bear NDX) RYVNX
Velocity (bull NDX)
Best regards,
Don

I'm pretty sure you can only trade Rydex MOC like any other mutual fund.
But I have heard that there may be some iShares coming out that will have
double the volatility of the indexes they track. So if you buy the iShares
for NASDAQ 2x and the NASDAQ goes up 1% in a day, your iShares will go up
2%. There will also be iShares that are inversely related to their
associated index, effectively allowing you to short an index in a
non-marginable account such as an IRA. These will all trade like regular
ETF's meaning you can daytrade them. No idea when this will be happening.
I heard the story many months ago.

Subject: Rydex funds question
I'm wondering if trading the Rydex funds is more akin to trading SP cash or
futures?
Also, can you make intraday trades or is it strictly a MOC kind of thing?
Thanks,
David
