We are all individuals who share an interest in systematic trading which
knows no boundaries. Let's forget our national chauvinism whether we
are American, French or from any other country. I love France, speak a
little of the language and have nothing but wonderful experiences from
many visits. This war has nothing to do with anyone on this list, and a
far as I know, none of us have had connection with the decision making
process. We do live in democracies and theoretically we have a degree
of influence, but against the machinery of modern government,
individuals are largely lost.
Let us savor the differences in outlook that each individual brings to
this forum and work on our task at hand, which is for me the ever
ongoing process of refining models that support me and my family.
