RE: DynaLoader vs Uniserver

Chris,
I've been using DynaLoader for several months, with good results. (Don't
know anything about Uniserver; would welcome comments.) I wish I could
create and save custom portfolio files (my selections, not pre-defined
ones), but the software itself works fine. The only hiccups I get are when
trying to download more than about 8-10 days of ES or NQ tick-level data
(for example), or similarly large files. This always fails, with a "Server
dropped the connection" message. You must then de-select that security, and
run the whole batch again. If you work within its limits, everything runs
very reliably.

  Hope that helps,
   Don Alexander

I'm trying to move up to intraday data, but have to look at it at night
because of job. Does anyone have feedback on either of these programs or
a comparison between the two? It looks like they both do the same thing
for 2000i and esignal ie getting back data and storing it.
Thanks,
Chris
