Jim,

There is a program called TickDB,
 written by Robert Linders 
that has been uploaded to Traders2 Traders.com,
that can give you tick counts.

You have to dig for the number,
since it is incidental to the program.

The CME files are located on ftp.cme.com.
There is only four days of history.
