Hello jbclem,
I used FileAlert to report the file changes.
"[Cr]" for a newly created file,
"[Mo]" for a modified file, or
"[De]" for a deleted file.
"[+10][Mo]", modified and it's now 10kb larger.
"[-5][Mo]", modified and the size has shrunk 5kb;
"[+0][Mo]" modified and no size change.

Results after adding the Exit icon to the standard toolbar
C:\0MEGA\TS\BTNINFO0.EI [+0][Mo]
C:\0MEGA\TS\BTNINF01.EI [+1][Mo]
C:\0MEGA\TS\BTNINF02.EI [+0][Mo]
C:\0MEGA\TS\BTNINF03.EI [+0][Mo]
C:\0MEGA\TS\BTNINF04.EI [+0][Mo]
C:\0MEGA\TS\BTNINF05.EI [+0][Mo]
C:\0MEGA\TS\CSTINF0.EI [+0][Mo]

best regards
