In my experience, a simple touch will seldom fill you, unless it backs off
and touches again, and even then there may be several hundred orders ahead
of you. IB is no different in this regard than any other broker's limit
order placed on Globex, so it shouldn't be a consideration. Of more
importance is their treatment of stops orders which are held on their
servers until elected, but that's another story.

Subject: Interactive Broker's Limit order
I'm considering moving my account to Interactive Brokers, but I have a
question I hope someone will be able to answer first.
If I place a limit order with IB in the e-mini S&P, will it generally get
filled if the market touches my price, or is it more often necessary for the
market to go beyond my price for a fill?
Thanks in advance for the help.
