One bad habit I developed from using Opera as my browser is to leave
a bunch of pages open instead of bookmarking them. Opera saves its
state when you close the browser, and restores it when you start
it again. I tend to have interesting pages open all the time, for
months on end.
Well, I had to install a new hard disk and re-install my OS and all
my apps, so I lost the pages I had "saved" in my browser without
bookmarking them.
In particular I had a page pointing to code or history pertaining
to a strategy called "The Swing Machine" -- I think it was by Clyde
Lee. I can't find it on google.
It was either that page, or another one, that referred to a strategy
using up volume versus down volume to generate entries, and always
exit on the close. I had been wanting to test that idea, which is
why I had the page open. Anybody know what I'm talking about?
Thanks.
