TS2000i needs some parenthesis in the denomenator otherwise a straight line
is the result.  They are in the book but were left out in the omega posts.

MD = MD[ 1 ] + ( c - MD[ 1 ] ) / (K * period * power( ( c / MD[ 1 ] )),
