Wow! This is great news! I was also thinking of becoming an auto mechanic on the side (they charge $80/hour here), I could do it in my spare time between trades. Maybe I could set up a quote screen out in the garage.
Anyway, I was wondering, is there a book or mentor like
"The One Minute Mechanic" or something like that? I really don't want to take a lot of time to learn about all those different kinds of cars and tools and all that stuff. I just want to jump right in and start making money. In fact, I'd like to become a mechanic without getting my hands dirty if I could....
