Another option is to use MailWasher http://www.mailwasher.net/ --
It allows you to browse all mail while still on your POP server and delete
or bounce anything you don't want before downloading --
It also black-lists any future incoming mail from addresses that you
identify as spammers, etc. -- Since using it, I generally download less
than 1/3 of the total mail that arrives --
